Stick Stickly was originally designed and built by the super talented “Wavy” Dave Jordan. From 1996 to 98 I designed and built all of Stick’s sets and props with the help of my good friend Jim Napolitano. We also puppeteered all characters during those years. I also made Stick’s Mom’s house! I loved the Dip Stick rig.

One day Jim and I  discovered a room in the VIACOM building full of Stick’s mail. In about 50% of the envelopes were Sticks that kids had made! Nickelodeon told us that there was no money for someone to open all the letters, so we came in gratis and opened thousands of letters, found hundreds of sticks (including one in a wedding dress ready to marry Stick!) We later made little bleachers and put as many of the kid-made sticks in the “audience”.
