I played Basil on “Johnny and the Sprites” that aired on the Disney Channel. I also directed an episode.

We performed a live version of the show at the Disney parks in Florida, and Ginger (Leslie Cararas-Rudolph) and I would ad lib a bit to try and make Johnny laugh during the show. It’s our favorite game. One show, as I was leaving stage, Johnny asked where I was going. Ginger told him that I was running to the Hall of Presidents, and from off stage I yelled “I LOVE LINCOLN!” Basil was a Lincoln lover ever since.

Later that year we were invited to perform at the Easter Egg Roll on the White House Lawn.
